Ratan Tata, who passed away at 86, was one of India's most celebrated business leaders and an influential figure on the global stage. He helmed the Tata Group, a 155-year-old conglomerate spanning over 100 companies, from steel and automobiles to software and aviation. Under his leadership, the group’s annual revenues surpassed $100 billion, employing more than 660,000 people.
